Who’s behind Brand Baby? 👧
Brand Baby is written by me, Caroline Albro. I’m a 26 year-old living in San Francisco. I grew up in Northern California before attending Scripps College in Southern California. After graduating in 2022, I moved to New York to work in brand marketing at Intuit Mailchimp, where I’ve been focused on brand partnerships, sponsorships, and marketing activations (a lot of the stuff I talk about in this very newsletter!). I recently moved back to my hometown city of San Francisco, where I spend a lot of time walking up hills, hanging at coffee shops, biking to the beach, and sweating in hot yoga classes.
I started Brand Baby in December of 2023 because I love thinking and talking about brands and marketing, and I wanted to share that passion with a wider audience. I’ve always adored researching and writing (I studied sociology in college), and my favorite part of my day is when I sit down at my desk to read my favorite newsletters every morning.
Brand Baby is as a place for me to curate and analyze cool things happening in the marketing world – whether that’s a risky social stunt, an unlikely brand partnership, or a fun out-of-home activation.
